Shopping and dining local is a hot topic now more than it’s ever been, but we know that sometimes it’s really hard to give up your frequent trips to Target, Walmart, Lowes and other one-stop shops in your community. We get it! So, instead of giving up your shopping habits cold-turkey, lets try a little swapping local instead!

Next time you find yourself in need of a few items from the store or it’s your family’s eat out night, swap your typical spots with a local store. Maybe you need a pack of screws, instead of Lowes, try your local hardware store. Out of ingredients for a cake? Try your local grocery mart. Maybe your weekly family night out can be spent at the new local meat-and-three. It doesn’t have to be a lifetime commitment! Hey, you never know, you may discover a hidden gem in your city. To the adventurous goes the spoils.
