Sweepstakes Official Rules 

 

No payment or donation is necessary to win.  A payment or donation will not increase your chances of winning.  Chances of winning depend on the total number of accepted entries (as defined within these official rules below).  Void where prohibited by law.   

 

By entering into this [Name of Sweepstakes] (the “Sweepstakes”) you, the entrant, (“you”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth within these Official Rules (the “Rules”) which are a contract.  Please read these Rules carefully before entering. As used within these Rules “we”, “us”, and “our” refers to Support Local, LLC (the “Administrator”).   

 

  1. Who Can Enter.  Any legal resident of the State[s] of [*] (the “Territory”) who is at least eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry may enter this Sweepstakes according to the terms and conditions set forth in these Rules.  Employees, owners, officers, directors and agents of Administrator and Sponsor and their Immediate Family Members (as defined below) in addition to Administrator and Sponsor’s respective affiliates, parents, owners, subsidiaries and related parties thereto are not eligible to enter or win this Sweepstakes.  As used within this Section 1, “Immediate Family Members” means each individual person’s immediate family members including without limitation their spouse, domestic partner, mother, father, sister, brother, and each of the foregoing’s respective spouses and those living within the same household of individual person.  This Sweepstakes is void outside of the Territory and where prohibited by law, regulation, ordinance or statute.  All applicable laws apply.  If you have won another sweepstakes administered by Administrator within the twelve (12) calendar months immediately preceding the Window you are barred from entering this Sweepstakes.   

 

  1. Sweepstakes Timeline.  The Sweepstakes begins on [*] at 1:00 PM Central Standard Time and ends on [*] at 12:59 PM Central Standard Time (the “Window”).  The times for the opening and closing of the Window shall be determined solely by Administrator’s computer.   

 

  1. Method of Entry.  You can enter the Sweepstakes up to one (1) time by any of the following ways: 

 

  1. Donate. You can enter the Sweepstakes by clicking on the “Donate Now” and donating to the Sponsor.  Each donation, regardless of dollar value gets one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.   

 

  1. Free Method of Entry. While we hope you will contribute to the Sponsor’s great cause, you can also enter for free by clicking on the link titled [Free method of entry].  Each time you fill out the free method of entry form, you get one (1) entries into the Sweepstakes.   

 

By submitting an entry by any of the above Method of Entries, you agree with and represent and warrant that you are complying with all of the terms and conditions of these Rules.   

 

  1. Odds.  Your odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.  

 

  1. Sweepstakes Drawing, Winner.  Within five (5) business days after the Window, Administrator shall conduct a random drawing of eligible entries to select one (1) winner of the Grand Prize.  Once selected, Administrator shall attempt to contact the selected winner in accordance with Section 7 of these Rules.  Once contacted, the selected entrant shall be required to supply proof of identity and such other documentation as reasonably requested by Administrator to verify the winner is an eligible winner in accordance with these Rules and applicable law and which may include without limitation a form W-9.  In the event that the selected entrant cannot be contacted within twenty-four (24) hours or the selected entrant is not eligible to win the Grand Prize under these Rules, a subsequent random drawing shall be held and the notification and verification process continued until an eligible selected entrant is found.   

 

  1. Sweepstakes Prize. The Winner of the Sweepstakes will receive the Grand Prize which consists of the following: 

 

  • [*] with an attributed fair market value of $[*]; and  

  • [*] with an attributed fair market value of $[*]. 

 

Winner agrees that the Grand Prize shall be given to the Winner and that the Prize is not redeemable for cash or credit.  Winner agrees that the Grand Prize will not be sold, transferred or in anyways assigned until after received by Winner   

 

  1. Notification.  Following the random drawing, Sponsor shall contact the selected entrant by phone, email and/or text message to inform them of winning the Sweepstakes.  YOU AGREE THAT BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES YOU CONSENT TO SPONSOR CONTACTING YOU AS WELL AS ADMINISTRATOR SHARING YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION WITH THE SPONSOR.  SPONSOR WILL REACH OUT UP TO THREE (3) TIMES WITHIN THE TWENTY FOUR (24) HOURS IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE RANDOM DRAWING TO CONTACT YOU.  IF SPONSOR IS UNABLE TO CONTACT YOU WITHIN THAT TIME A NEW WINNING ENTRY SHALL BE SELECTED AND THE NOTIFICATION PROCESS CONTEMPALTED WITHIN THIS SECTION CONTINUED UNTIL A WINNER IS CONTACTED BY SPONSOR.   

 

  1. Event of Dispute.  In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a person that enters this Sweepstakes, the entry shall be deemed submitted by the person whose name corresponds with the name of the Support Local App account that the entry is associated with provided that such person qualifies with all other criteria set forth within these Rules.   Decisions regarding the eligibility of entrants are to be made solely by the Administrator and such decisions are deemed final and binding upon being communicated by Administrator.   

 

  1. Prohibited Actions; Terminating Events.  Any persons who tamper with, damage, abuse or attempt to do any of the foregoing or who are in violation of these Rules as determined by the Administrator in its sole direction shall be disqualified and all associated entries voided.  The Administrator and the Sponsor reserve the right to cancel the Sweepstakes for any reason including in the event that a virus, bug or other cause corrupts the administration, security, operation or fairness of the Sweepstakes.  Entries generated by any mechanical or automated means shall be disqualified.  Further, entries that are generated from multiple email accounts and/or user accounts on the Support Local app that are owned by or under common control by one person shall be disqualified.   

 

  1. Release of Liability.  By entering into the Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless the Administrator, the Sponsor, and their respective employees, officers, directors, agents, counsel, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries  and assigns (the “Releasees”) from and against any and all claims, causes of action and liability whatsoever including without limitation personal injury, property damage, and/or death that may occur in connection with your participation in the Sweepstakes and (if selected as the Winner of the Grand Prize) and use/misuse, possession or acceptance of the Grand Prize.    The Releasees are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, ISP, website or other connections or failed connections of any kind or any other error whether by human or machine or a combination thereof.   

 

  1. List of Winner.  For a list of the Grand Prize winner, after [*] send a self addressed, stamped envelope to Administrator at [*] by [*].   

 

  1. Disputes.  In the event of any dispute under the Sweepstakes you agree to submit to binding arbitration on a non-class basis under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.  Forum for the arbitration shall be Nashville, Tennessee.   

 

  1. Administrator and Sponsor of Sweepstakes.  Support Local, LLC is the Administrator of this Sweepstakes.  [Charity Name] is the Sponsor of this Sweepstakes.
